INSTALLATION

Trauma, grief/fallout, healing.

FIRST - stepping into the small, cramped enclosure, the viewer is presented with a red strobe light and sound cancelling headphones to experience the first audio mixture.

SECOND - viewing the charcoal on distressed mylar handprints, the viewer is presented with low-quality headphones as a means of creating distance and distortion from the second audio mixture.

THIRD - a cloth, yellow backdrop featuring a single printout of the artist’s back, laying peacefully on their side. The artist wears an embroidered piece, and the third audio mixture plays quietly on a speaker for all to hear.

PERFORMANCE

A home one can carry, found in the seas, the peaks, the woods, and the skies.
